Berry Smoothie Bowl

 
 

Ingredients

FOR THE SMOOTHIE

• 1/2 cup ice

• 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt - plain

• 1/4 cup fresh or frozen pineapple chunks

• 1/4 cup fresh or frozen peach chunks

• 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

• 1/4-1/2 cut up orange

• handful fresh spinach - optional

OPTIONAL

• 2 tsp flax, chia, and/or coconut

• 3/4 scoop of unflavored whey protein powder

• 1-2 tsp of honey or maple syrup if you need it a little sweeter

FOR THE TOPPING

• fresh blueberries

• fresh grapes - halved

• granola

ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS TO TRY:

• fresh strawberries - halved

• fresh peaches - sliced & diced

• unsweetened coconut flakes

• chopped almonds or pecans

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients for the smoothie in the bowl of blender, placing the heaviest ones on top. Blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into a bowl and top with fruit, and 1-2 thumbs worth of granola, almonds, coconut or chia seeds.

    Enjoy right away!
